Volleyball drops third straight

Box Score Sterling, Kan. – McPherson dropped their third straight match of the season to Manhattan Christian College 3-1 (25-17, 25-20, 23-25, 25-20) Saturday afternoon in Sterling, Kan.

The loss dropped the Bulldogs to 4-11 (3-4 KCAC).

For the second match in a row, Natalie Boss led the Bulldogs offense hitting .387 with 16 kills. Libero Brooke Wedel led the defense with 16 digs and was joined in double figures by Tiffany Rooker (12) and Kelley Green (10).

As a team, McPherson hit .106 with 43 kills on 142 attempts.

The Bulldogs looks to rebound in their next match Tuesday, Oct. 6, against Southwestern College. The match is set to start at 7:00 p.m.
