Grand Island, Neb. - The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) and the Victory Sports Network (VSN) have announced a live video streaming partnership for the 2010-2011 athletic season.
As part of the agreement the KCAC will be able to stream an unlimited number of games on the Victory Sports Network's Livestream channel that has been specially created for KCAC events.
"Fans of the KCAC will be able to watch live events on their own dedicated channel," said Jason Dannelly, owner and founder of the Victory Sports Network. "The channel will be run by KCAC personnel with the technological backing of VSN."
Commissioner Dr. Scott Crawford will head the efforts in the KCAC to bring fans of NAIA athletics in the state of Kansas an even more in-depth view. Dr. Crawford felt this is another big step forward for the KCAC.
"This is a great opportunity to get our players, our schools and our conference more exposure," said Crawford. He added, "Parents of current student-athletes, potential future students, alumni and fans will be able watch their schools compete from anywhere."
Starting on September 4, one football game will be webcast every Saturday, with two games available on October 2 and 9. All games will be streamed live and available as Video-On-Demand for repeat viewings.
Additionally, the KCAC Volleyball Championships, plus Men's and Women's Soccer Championships, will also be broadcast. After fall sports season, the focus will shift to Men's and Women's Basketball games and the basketball conference tournament. A Game of the Week series for both men's and women's basketball is being explored.
"Our plan is to get all of our schools on as many times as possible," said Dr. Crawford. "We will schedule to keep things as even as we can, except for the championships, of course."

The ninth season of coverage from VSN will premiere Saturday, August 28th, with live coverage of the "Rivalry Renewed" between Ottawa University and Baker University at 6 p.m. Central.
This season's schedule of the "Victory Sports Network NAIA Football Game of the Week" currently includes 17 games featuring many of the top-ranked teams in the NAIA.
