McPherson, Kan.
– The McPherson College men’s soccer team looks to rebound following a 2-1 loss at Friends University last Saturday, as the Bulldogs welcome Sterling College and Bethany College to McPherson Stadium. MC’s matchup with Sterling is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 8 p.m., while the Bethany game time has been moved from 8 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday Oct. 22.

McPherson (8-5-0, 3-2-0 KCAC) enters the week 2-2 in their last four, including wins against Tabor College (4-1) and Bethel College (2-1). However, the Bulldogs fell in their last match, 2-1, at Friends University. The two sides battled to a stalemate in the opening 45 minutes, before the Bulldogs broke through in the 53rd minute on junior forward Brooks Walsh’s fifth goal of the season. Despite the momentum, Friends answered with scores in the 69th and 71st minute en route to the victory.
