McPherson, Kan. – The McPherson College volleyball team will travel to Hahn Gymnasium in Lindsborg, Kan. to face Bethany College on Monday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. The match will air live via the Bethany College page of KCAC Broadcast Network.
The Bulldogs (8-15, 5-8 KCAC) went winless last week with 0-3 losses against Friends University and Tabor College, while Bethany (2-19, 1-12) has lost four straight, including three consecutive sweeps.
In their first meeting, McPherson hit a near season-high .310 on the match, including a .385 attacking percentage in set two. Senior
Kory Hiebert (Goessel, Kan.) led the team with 11 kills and .526 hitting percentage, while junior
Natalie Boss (Waterville, Kan.) added nine kills and senior
Amy Neufeld (Hillsboro, Kan.) chipped in eight, respectively.
Hiebert continues to provide a balanced effort for the Bulldogs ranking fifth nationally in blocks per game (1.38), while leading the team with 2.8 kills per set. In addition to Hiebert, senior
Brooke Wedel (Moundridge, Kan.) leads the team with 5.18 digs per set, while senior
Brelynn Schloo (Salina, Kan.) has dished out 376 assists.
After Bethany, McPherson returns home for a Wednesday matchup with Bethel College. First serve is slated for 7 p.m.
