McPherson, Kan. – The McPherson College softball team had three individuals earn Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors earlier this spring.
Juniors Katie Logan (Clay Center, Kan.) and Andrea Falk (Cheyenne, Wyo.), and sophomore Kelsey Dutton (Limon, Colo.) were the Bulldog representatives after a solid academic year in their respective majors. In order to be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must have reached junior status and have a minimum 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
McPherson finished its season with a 22-26 overall record and an 8-8 mark in Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference play. The Bulldogs advanced to the semifinals of the loser’s bracket of the KCAC tournament before falling to Ottawa University, 2-1.
