KCAC Softball Tournament Bracket Released

McPherson, Kan. - The 2012 KCAC Softball Championship tournament bracket was released on Sunday, April 29.  McPherson College will play Friends University in the opening round at 12 p.m. (CT) on Wednesday, May 2 at the Fun Valley Softball Complex in Hutchinson, Kansas. 

#3 seed Friends University (28-17, 12-6) is pitted against #6 seed McPherson College (15-23, 9-9).  Friends swept McPherson in the last two games of the regular season, 7-3 and 7-6.  
The winner of the Friends/McPherson game will face the winner of Ottawa vs. Tabor/Bethel on Wednesday, May 2 at 7:00 p.m.  The loser will play at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday against the Bethany vs. Sterling/Saint Mary loser.
