McPherson, Kan. – Lady Bulldog Volleyball will be traveling to Point Lookout, Missouri for the Mazzio’s Volleyball Tournament, hosted by College of the Ozarks to play on Friday, August 31 and Saturday, September 1.
MC is slated to play Central Methodist at 12 p.m. and College of the Ozarks at 4 p.m. on Friday and Oklahoma City University at 9 a.m. and Evangel University at 11 a.m. (CT) on Saturday.
Heading into her fifth season as head coach, Susan Barton is looking to rebound after a 12-18 record last year. She is returning one key starter from the 2011 squad and has added seven freshmen and one transfer student to the roster over the summer. Some of the key returners include
Hannah Hoffman (Bendena, Kan.),
Natalie Boss (Waterville, Kan.) and
Tiffany Rooker (Hillsboro, Kan.)
After the tournament in Missouri, McPherson will travel to Hillsboro, Kan., to take on the Blue Jays of Tabor College on September 5
th at 5:30 p.m. (CT) for their first KCAC match of the season.
