McPherson, Kan. – Times have been changed for the McPherson football and soccer games that are scheduled for September 22nd. The McPherson vs. Friends football game will now be held at 1:00 p.m. and the soccer games vs. MidAmerica Nazarene will be pushed back to 5 and 7:30 p.m. (CT) start times.
The Mac football team is coming off a 40-21 point victory against Southwestern College, moving their record to 2-1 overall and 2-0 in the KCAC, tying them for the top spot in the conference. They are led in the passing game by seniors Julius Record, wide receiver, and quarterback Jake Snodgrass. The two have hooked up 25 times for 205 yards and one touchdown.
Both Bulldog soccer programs will be entering Saturday’s contest after playing two elite Baker University soccer squads. The men’s team is currently undefeated at 4-0 while the women are 1-2-2. Taylor Parrott, goalkeeper for the men’s squad, has already been named KCAC Defensive Player-of-the-Week twice thanks to his 0.5 goals against per game average.
After the games on the 22nd, Bulldog football will travel to Bethel College in North Newton, Kan., to take on the Threshers at 7 p.m. (CT) on September 29th. Both soccer teams will host Manhattan Christian College on the 26th with the women’s game scheduled for 5 p.m. (CT)
