Box Score Baldwin City, Kan. – The Baker University Wildcats showed McPherson College why they are ranked eighth in the country on Wednesday with a commanding 3-0 victory. The loss moves MC to 1-3-2 for the season.
Controlling the game from the start, Baker scored twice in the opening half. The Wildcats put the ball in the back of the net one final time in the 54
th minute to put an exclamation on the win.
The Lady Bulldogs were only able to create two shots for themselves in the contest, one by
Alexandria Paparella (Torrance, Calif.) and the other by
Morgan Anderson (Colorado Springs, Colo.) whose shot was on goal.
Keeper
Molly Whitwell (Plano, Texas) was shot at 10 times in the game and recorded seven saves.
A home match versus MidAmerica Nazarene University now awaits McPherson. That game is scheduled for September 22
nd at 5 p.m. (CT) at McPherson Stadium.
