McPherson, Kan. – It was a three-game sweep for Lady Bulldog volleyball as they took down Sterling College 25-14, 25-17 and 25-22 in the Saturday match.  McPherson is now 13-13 for the year and 5-5 in the KCAC.

"This was a good win for us today and a great way to start off the second round of conference," said Coach Barton.  "We have been playing well and the time and effort these girls have been putting in is starting to show.  We are starting to find our groove and not just varsity but JV is playing well also.  These girls have come a long way since August and I look for this trend to continue."

The 'Dogs came out ready to play as they got up early and then coasted to a 25-14 win in the opening set.  It was more of the same in game two as MC took down the Warriors 25-17.  SC was determined not to be swept and led by a large handful, getting out to a quick start.  The Bulldogs fought back and overtook Sterling down the stretch for the 25-22 victory.
