McPherson ended the night shooting in 26-of-69, 37.7 percent, from the floor and was 7-of-26 from behind the three point arc. The team's free throw percentage improved from last night as 72.4%, 21-of-29, fell through. York dropped in 38-of-71 field goals, 53.5%, with 9-of-26 threes; they netted just 18-of-31 from the stripe. The Bulldogs lost the rebounding battle 55-to-34.
The 'Dogs were led in scoring by Dee Roberts who totaled 26 points on 9-of-21 shooting including three from range; the junior transfer also made 5-of-9 free throws. Chris Crook hit 5-of-13 field goals and both his free throws for 14 points. Also scoring double-digits was Ramon Martinez who netted 2-of-6 from the floor and 6-of-8 from the charity stripe for 10 points. Reed Rowell led the team in rebounds with nine; he added eight points to McPherson's total.
Mac starts up KCAC play this week. The team is set to travel Winfield, Kansas to take on Southwestern College on November 19th; tipoff is at 8:00 p.m. (CT)
