Wichita, Kan. – In the No. 5 vs. No. 4 matchup, the McPherson College women's soccer team will head to Lindsborg, Kansas to take on the Swedes of Bethany College on November 6th with kickoff set for 7:00 p.m. (CT)

Scouting McPherson College:
The Bulldogs come into the playoffs with a 9-7-1 overall and 5-4-1 KCAC record, good for the No. 5 seed in the tournament. McPherson averaged 1.50 goals per game and tallied 24 goals over the course of 16 games this season. Cydney Lewis led all Bulldogs with eight goals in 14 games, averaging 0.57 per contest and recording three game-winning goals, while Breelyn Petty assisted five times and also recorded three game-winning goals in her senior campaign. Defensively, Sheryl Evans leads McPherson and sits in sixth in the KCAC with 81 saves, averaging 5.40 saves per game.
Scouting Bethany College:
At 9-6-3 overall and 7-2-1 in conference play, Bethany sits at No. 4 in the KCAC. The Swedes have won their last three games in conference play, concluding the season with a 3-0 victory over Saint Mary. Bethany scored 27 goals over the course of 18 games this season, good for sixth in the conference, while sitting in fourth with 20 assists and 108 saves. Defensively, Jovana Canales led the Swedes and is fifth in the KCAC with 84 saves in 13 games, averaging 6.46 per game. Offensively, Sarah Henderson is tied for second in the conference and leads Bethany with 13 total goals in 16 games, averaging 0.81 per game.

The winner of the Bethany/McPherson game moves on to play the No. 1 seed Oklahoma Wesleyan University in a semifinal match at 5 p.m., on Thursday, Nov. 12 at Hummer Sports Park in Topeka, Kan.
