Men's Soccer Scores Eight in Win at Manhattan Christian

Box Score MANHATTAN, Kan. (macbulldogs.com) --- Brayam De La Cruz (Bellevue, Idaho), Nick Torres (McPherson, Kan.) and Christopher Kelly (Glasgow, Scotland) each scored a pair of goals as the McPherson College men's soccer team posted an 8-0 nonconference victory at Manhattan Christian College on Wednesday night. 

Sean Morris (Cambridge, England) and Jesus Pescador (Valencia, Calif.) accounted for the other goals for the Bulldogs (4-0-1).

"We had a lot of possession, created a ton of chances and were able to play everyone we traveled," said head coach Doug Quint. "We were creative in possession with our combinations."

McPherson is idle until Thursday, Sept. 22 when they travel to Chickasha, Okla., to face No. 16 University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. The USAO game is the first of a two-game road swing through the Sooner State that concludes Saturday, Sept. 24 with a game against Saint Gregory's University.
