The Bulldogs had only one player score in double figures, a 14 point performance off the bench from Ellie Gillen (Jr. Castle Rock, Colo.). Gillen was 4 for 9 from the floor, all of them three point baskets, and 2 of 3 from the free throw line.
Bela Raimondi, (Sr. Costa Mesa, Calif.), was the closest to double figures, finishing a point shy with nine.
Bulldog head coach,
Josh Nichols, commented on the loss saying, "Tonight we played flat on offense, which contributed to our offensive struggles. Defensively gave up too many offensive rebounds & they made some tough shots."
With the loss, the Bulldogs move to 8-7 overall, and 3-7 in conference play. They will wrap up the first semester portion of their season next Tuesday, when they go on the road for a non-conference matchup, in Lawrence, Kan., against the Haskell Indian Nations University Indians. Tipoff Tuesday is slated for 3:00 pm.
