McPherson, Kan. – The McPherson College men's basketball team extended their current winning streak to three games and moved to 1-0 in KCAC play with a 101-71 win at home against the Avila University (Mo.) Eagles.
The Bulldog men trailed only once the entire game, 4-3 at the 18:06 mark of the first half. By the end of the half, they had nearly doubled up the Eagles, heading into the locker room up 50-29. Nearly half (24) of the Bulldogs' first half points came via the three pointer. Â
In the second half, the 21 point halftime lead quickly ballooned out past 30, and hovered right around there for the remainder of the game. The largest lead of the game was 36 for the Bulldogs, coming with just under three minutes to play in regulation.

The Bulldogs out rebounded the Eagles 55 to 27 and had 23 offensive rebounds that they turned into 20 points.
