McPherson, Kan. – The McPherson College men's basketball team picked up another win, pushing their current win streak to six games, and remaining perfect within the friendly confines of the Sport Center. In the second half the Bulldogs started hitting from outside. They made five three pointers in the opening 20 minutes, but nearly doubled that in the second half, knocking down nine. At the 13:44 mark, the Bulldogs had a three point lead, but in a one minute span, they hit back to back to back three pointers to extend their lead to 12 points.

From there, the Falcons would get no closer than eight points, and when the clock hit zeros, the lead was back up to 13.

Coach Quote

"I was very pleased with our focus and effort tonight. We struggled offensively in the first half but I felt like we were getting good shots. Luckily in the second half shots started falling. When you play as hard as we did good things will usually happen. Josh Rivers had an unbelievable all around game both scoring and getting others involved. I thought Kemryn Jenkins and Fred Watts also both had great games and made plays that seniors are supposed make."

The Bulldogs now sit at 11-5 overall, and are in 3rd place in the KCAC standings at 9-5. They will put their perfect home record on the line on Saturday when they host the KWU Coyotes at 7:00 pm.
