The Bulldog Defense came out strong as they forced the warriors to a three and out. #4 Jonathan White came out looking explosive as he picked up 44 yards on the ground in just his first four touches. #23 Bryson Kerby capped off the drive with a touchdown scoring the game's first points. McPherson now leads 7-0. Following another three-and-out by the warrior offense, #20 Tristan Szabo led the offense down the field and, in just nine plays, threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to #13 Aidan Frieson, expanding their lead 14-0. Both sides of the ball seemed to be clicking as the defense held the warrior offense to -3 yards in the first quarter and the offense took advantage of scoring on their only two drives of the first.

As McPherson forced yet another three and out, it allowed the bulldog offense to expand their lead. They did in six plays as #20 Tristan Szabo found #13 Aidan Frieson deep for a 52-yard touchdown. McPherson is out front 20-0. Just when we thought that McPherson had been dominating every part of the game, Sterling's Ayden Rodriguez returned the kickoff 89 yards for a touchdown putting Sterling back into this game 20-7 McPherson on top. The momentum seemed to shift as the McPherson's Offense started stalling out, and this gave Sterling a chance to inch this game closer as they kicked a field goal drawing the score closer to 20-10.

McPherson opened the second half with the ball and put it on the ground seven times, resulting in a #4 Jonathan White 8-yard touchdown run. Their whole drive was on the ground, which sterling has been struggling against all game. The McPherson Defense seemed to make adjustments coming out of the locker room as they forced the Warriors to another three and out. Following the punt,#4 Jonathan White took just one play to break one off for a 55-yard touchdown run. Expanding McPherson's lead once again 33-10.

The fourth quarter can be summed up in three words for the Bulldogs. "Run and Defense" #4 Jonathan White opened the fourth quarter with seven rushes that went for 75 yards, and the last of the seven runs was a 5-yard touchdown which would put this game realistically out of reach. After the McPherson Defense once again forced a three-and-out, #4 Jonathan White carried the Bulldog offense down the field as the Bulldogs were trying to run out the clock. Jonathan White dominated on the ground capping off the drive with a 4-yard touchdown. McPherson is on top 47-10, which would carry us to the end of the game.

Offensive Key Players for today's game were #4 Jonathan White and #13 Aidan Frieson. Jonathan White broke the single-game rushing yards record as he rushed for 307 yards with four touchdowns. He also had a reception that went for 10 yards. Aidan Frieson had a pretty good day as he had 96 yards receiving with only three receptions, two of them going for touchdowns.
