McPherson,, KS - The McPherson Men's Soccer team shut out Doane University tonight with a final score of 3-0. This win gives McPherson its first victory of the 2022 season.
McPherson came out of the gates firing with an early goal in the 4th minute of the match by
Samuel Box. From that point on, it was all Bulldogs.
Saul Munoz scored the second goal of the match in the 24th minute, followed by
Diego Santibanez in the the 41st minute.
The second half was quieter offensively for the Bulldogs, but the defense remained strong allowing only 4 shots for Doane in the second half.
The Bulldogs are back in action on September 3rd in Sioux City, Iowa to take on Rocky Mountain College. The match is slated for 10:30 AM.
