The first half started off with two answering field goals knotting up the score at 3 apiece. Both teams struggled to get offense going on either side. Blue Jay's convert with an 11 yard touchdown to #11 Caleb Jamal Grant to take the lead before half 10-3. The Blue Jay's continued to capitalized all on all Bulldogs mistakes jumping out to a 17-3 lead at the end of the first half.
At halftime, the Blake Reed Memorial Scholarship was presented to senior defensive back #19
