First point of match goes to Bethany. #24 Darcy Dodd answers back with a kill to get McPherson on the score board. Missile by #11 Kylie Willis makes the score 5-4 Bulldogs take the lead over the Swedes. Bulldogs go on 5 point run to make it 9-4 before Bethany calls timeout. Swedes struggle to keep up with the Bulldogs as their lead expands to 16-6. An overshot by Bethany leads a first set win for McPherson 25-14.
In set 2 Bulldogs use momentum to go up 6-3. Soon the Swedes rally back and tie it up at 7-7. Bulldogs bounce back and Swedes take timeout after 3 point swing puts McPherson ahead 13-10. Hard hit by #24 Darcy Dodd gives the bulldogs the lead 14-13. After trading points the Bulldogs call a timeout while the Swedes have 19-21 lead. #3 Malu Akiona sends a tip over for a kill to tie it up at 24-24. Bulldogs finish the set 2 26-24
Set 3 starts with teams trading points as it is knotted up at 11-11. Nice poke by #8 Bridget McHugh sends the Bulldogs into a 2 point lead. Bethany takes timeout to take a breath down 17-14. Big back to back blocks by #4 Emily Lesson and #11 Kylie Willis gives the bulldogs a 22-21 lead. #15 Zoe Jerke gets an ace on the serve . And the bulldogs win after #5 Moriah Delgodo sends one to the back of the court for a free ball kill to get the sweep 3-0
