st quarter. Bethel's defense continued to keep them in the game.
After trading the ball, the Bulldogs gained momentum with a 42 yard TD pass from #20

Brandt Johnson. Bethel #45, Mitchell Monteith blocked the extra point attempt. Going into the half, Bulldogs led the Threshers 13-0.
The second half was all Threshers. Bethel came back in the second half with just a few key offensive possessions that would outlast the Bulldogs through the rest of the contest. Bulldog offense was stifled in the second half only producing 10 yards.This was a defensive battle that was decided by an extra point.

th Annual Blake Reed Memorial game at McPherson Stadium. Kickoff is slated for 6:00 PM.
