Women’s Soccer Falls to Bethany

LINDSBORG, Kan. — The McPherson College women's soccer squad fell 1-0 Wednesday (Oct. 11) on the road to Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kan.

The Swedes grabbed the 1-0 lead late in the opening half when Andrea Garza beat Lauren Kunda for the goal.

Kunda kept the deficit to just one goal, making four of her seven saves in the second half.

The Bulldogs put five shots on net led by Olivia Rodriguez and Andrea Salas with two apiece.

MC will return to McPherson Stadium Saturday (Oct. 14) to take on Evangel University with kickoff coming at noon.
