McPHERSON, Kan. — The McPherson College Bulldogs shot a season-low 25.4 percent from the field Wednesday (Nov. 15) to fall to the Bethel College Threshers 82-58 inside the Sport Center.
Madelyn Hankins led the Bulldogs with 11 points, four rebounds, and two steals. Gillian Rodgers added 10 points and a team-high eight rebounds. Chloe Clevenger and Jayla Moore each finished with eight points.
The Bulldogs were held to just 5-for-18 from beyond the arc, and finished with 18 turnovers. Bethel shot 47.1 percent (33-for-70) from the field, including six three pointers.
MC held a 28-26 lead early in the second quarter, but 14-6 run over the final 7:13 gave the Threshers a lead they would never relinquish.
The Bulldogs hit the road Saturday (Nov. 18) to take on Friends University in Wichita, Kan. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
