TOPEKA, Kan. — The McPherson College Bulldogs traveled to Topeka Tuesday (Feb. 28) and fell to the No. 15-ranked NCAA Division II Washburn University Ichabods 5-2.
The doubles team of Tim Hammes and Santiago Rendon knocked off Michael Beltran and Martin Millos in the first doubles match 6-4, then Oscar Brouwer and Daniel Marcano fell in a close match 7-5.
The Ichabods took a two-match lead when Rendon defeated Marcano (6-2, 6-0).
