HILLSBORO, Kan. — The Tabor College Bluejays scored with 12 seconds remaining Wednesday (Sep. 13) to knock off the McPherson College Bulldogs 2-1 in Hillsboro, Kan.
Nathan Van Wyck leveled the score with his first career goal with just over 90 seconds left in the contest. Diego Santibanez crossed it right in front of the net, then Van Wyck headed it past Jesus Rondon.
Camden Wiseman made his fifth start of the season in goal for the Bulldogs and stopped six of the eight shots he faced.
The Bulldogs finished with four shots, three of which were on net. Anthony Pereira and Anselm Nyambuka each had one shot on target in addition to the Van Wyck shot-on-goal.
MC will be back in action on Sunday (Sep. 17) as they travel to Kansas City, Mo., to take on Avila University.
