Salina, Kan – On Wednesday night, the Bulldogs made the quick drive North to take on the Coyotes of Kansas Wesleyan University. McPherson was fresh off a 3-1 victory over Avila the previous Sunday, while the Coyotes looked to continue a two-game win streak with their victories over Bethany and Southwestern by a combined score of 6-2.

How it Happened
In a scoreless first half, neither side was able to play past the opposing goalkeeper. The Coyotes were able to manage seven shots with just one of them on frame, while McPherson fired two shots on goal but were unable to strike the net.
 
Despite a 0-0 halftime score, the Coyotes were able to end the scoreless drought in the 59
th minute of the match as Gonzalo Gaubeka, assisted by Seth Flores and Aaron Joseph, blasted his goal through for the 1-0 advantage. Kansas Wesleyan would extend their lead in the 77
th minute as Quatama Massaquoi found a goal off the assist of Brennen Lamont and Noel Zimbeva. Following a yellow card shown to McPherson's 
Joe Balboni, the Coyotes struck again in the 83
rd minute. After assisted the first goal, Flores got on the scoreboard for Kansas Wesleyan to extend the lead to 3-0. Following the final blasts of the whistle, the Coyotes took the 3-0 victory at home.
