Topeka, Kan – The Bulldogs made the trip to Northeastern Kansas for their first indoor track & field meet of the 2025-2026 season hosted by Washburn University in their beautiful indoor athletic facility. This would also be the first meet for 1
st year Head Coach, EJ Daffin and a chance for his athletes to showcase their abilities before the Christmas break.
Brian Fackert finished 1
st place in the 1600m event and ran a time of 4:15.23; this time would not only be a personal record but broke a program record as well.
Cody Kuss would run a time of 2:35.57 in the 1000m and would win his heat.
Blake Posey of the women's team ran a 9.49 in the 60m hurdles event later in the day, the third best time in the program's history.
Jaxon Nichols competed in the men's 60m hurdles and ran an 8.60 in his career debut; his time was the fifth best finish in program history.
The throwers had quite the weekend both on the men's and women's side.
Lamar Gordon's weight throw of 17.98m (a personal record) earned 1
st place for the weekend. His throw qualified as a National B Standard throw and was second in the all-time McPherson College records.
Kamden Tacket's shot put had a distance of 12.56m, a personal best.
Cara Shultz's shot put of 11.10m placed her 13
th in the standings, and her 14.6m weight throw earned her 10
th place.

It will not be until January 10
th that the Men's and Women's Track and Field programs will be back in action. They'll compete in the First Chance Qualifier in Wichita, KS hosted by Friends University.
