How it Happened
Emily Singletary shined in the first half for McPherson, keeping the Bulldogs in the game with five saves. On the other end, McPherson generated pressure of their own, forcing the Tigers' goalkeeper into a pair of stops. Despite chances for both sides, the game remained tied 0-0 at the break.

Doane came out strong to start the second half, registering the first two shots on goal.  But, a yellow card to Andrea Salas in the 57th minute shifted the momentum squarely in McPherson's favor. Ayden Jones capitalized in the 70th minute, burying a penalty kick for her first goal of the season to give McPherson the lead.

The Bulldogs controlled the remainder of the match, holding off the Tigers to secure their second win of the season.
