How it Happened
From beginning to end, McPherson dominated this match on both sides of the ball. In just the 3rd minute of play, Zane Sullivan scored the first goal of the match off of the assist from Sijmen Van Der Zee. In the 15th minute, it was Ryoga Oki capitalizing on a penalty kick attempt placing the ball away from the goalkeeper to extend McPherson's lead to 2-0. Rawson Harris continued McPherson's offensive success in the first half as he was given a goal-scoring opportunity in the 27th minute. Off the assist of Elliot Powrie, Harris connected on his shot to add another goal to the Bulldogs' early advantage. Shortly after, it was Harris' chance for a goal from the penalty stripe. In the 33rd minute, Powrie would fire his shot into the net for the 4-0 lead. After the one-sided half, the Bulldogs strutted into the halftime break with the mountainous lead.

Ruben Guzman found Sterling's only goal of the match in the 57th minute on a penalty kick to cut the lead down slightly at 4-1, but it would be matched and raised by the Bulldogs in the minutes to come. Nathan Van Wyck would negate Sterling's PK with one of his own, scoring on his attempt in the 75th minute to put the deficit back to four goals. McPherson's final goal in the 81st minute would be Van Wyck's second of the match as the England native connected on Oki's pass to score the sixth goal of the day for the Bulldogs. The last three blasts from the whistle had given McPherson the 6-1 road victory over the Warriors.
