McPherson, Kan. - McPherson College Athletics is pleased to announce a new partnership with Tim and Jenny Cheatham, owners of TC Construction in McPherson to rename the home field of Bulldog Baseball as TC Construction Field at Bulldog Park.
TC Construction has played a significant role in many construction projects across campus for many years, including the development of Bulldog Park in 2017. A new scoreboard recognizing the field's naming partnership will be installed later this month and the team's new uniforms will feature a TC Construction patch on the sleeve.
"We are extremely excited to announce this partnership with Tim and Jenny," said Athletic Director Josh Daume. "They have been terrific supporters of our programs for many years, and this latest gift is truly instrumental as we continue to grow our baseball program and athletics department. Their commitment to our future is inspiring, and we're proud to work with them for years to come."
Jenny Cheatham is a 2001 graduate of McPherson College.
"This is about investing in students, in athletics, and in the future of McPherson College," the Cheathams said. "We're grateful for the opportunity to give back and help build something that will benefit generations of Bulldog student-athletes. This partnership is deeply personal to us, as McPherson College has meant so much to our family and our community."
