St. Louis, Mo. – McPherson opened their three-game road trip with a matchup against the University of Missouri-St. Louis Tritons on Saturday. The Bulldogs aimed to build on their hard-fought win against William Woods, while the Tritons looked for their fifth win of the season.

The Bulldogs fell behind early as the Tritons swept doubles play in convincing fashion. USML extended the lead to 2-0 when
Vanessa Hofer dropped her match to Hannah Tse in straight sets.
Taimi Nashiku accounted for McPherson's lone point, earning a strong 6-2, 6-3 victory at #2 Singles.
The Tritons closed out the match by winning the remaining singles contests in straight sets, sealing a 6-1 victory over the Bulldogs.
