McPherson, Kansas – Senior goalkeeper Alvaro Marchal was named the KCAC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
 
Marchal held off a tough attack from the Doane (Neb.) offense, securing seven saves and a 100% save percentage in a 0-0 tie.
 
Marchal now has 13 saves in three games on the season with a .765 save percentage.
 
The Bulldogs host Central Christian on Wednesday, September 9 at Brubaker Family Stadium at Paul Family Field. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
