2009 (Junior): Played in all 11 games … named first team all-conference as a kicker and second team as a punter … named KCAC Special Teams Player of the Week following the Bulldogs 60-38 victory over Friends University on Sept. 12 … ranked third in the KCAC and 18th nationally in punt yards per attempt (39.1) … of his 36 punts, six were of 50 yards or more, 14 were placed inside the 20 yard line … connected on 5-of-11 field goal attempts, including a season-long of 44 yards against Kansas Wesleyan University on Oct. 17.
2008 (Sophomore): Twice received player of the week honors (Sept. 13 and Nov. 13), including an NAIA National Player of the Week following a career-best three field goal performance against Bethel College … converted 7-of-14 field goal attempts, including a career long 44 yarder against Friends University … punted 20 times with an average of 33.0 yards per kick … of his 20 punts, eight were placed inside the 20-yard line.
2007 (Freshman): Played in all 10 games … connected on 25-of-28 extra points … made 5-of-6 field goals, including a long of 44 yards.
High School: Jim Thorpe All-Star award winner … named to all-state team in soccer, while receiving the honor of boy’s soccer offensive player of the year … earned East Central High School’s football special teams player of the year award and was named male athlete of the year following his senior season.
Personal: Travis Eason is the son of Steve and Kim Eason … born Feb. 26, 1989 … majoring in biochemistry.
