Bethany Nicholson is a Kansas native, born and raised in Salina where she currently is a dance instructor at Vivette’s Dance Studio. She has been with the studio teaching for three years but was a student there for 15 years learning all styles of dance and cheer. Bethany was accepted to West Texas A&M University where she worked towards a fine arts degree in dance.
She has also performed in many shows in Salina at the Community Theater, was a professional cheerleader for two years in Amarillo, Texas, and one year with the Salina Bombers. Bethany has also danced in the famous outdoor musical theater show TEXAS, numerous shows with the Lone Star Ballet Company, and performed with Weird Al Yankovic. As well as teaching and performing, Bethany works as an administrative assistant at Sandstone Bridge Center, mental and behavioral health facility.
In her spare time, you can find her keeping up with a very spirited, adorable, little three year old boy named Bryton. Bethany is excited to be a part of the Bulldog family and can’t wait to hit the ground running with the McPherson College Cheer and Dance program.
