Krista Williams

Krista Williams is entering her second season as the head coach of the McPherson College competitive cheer team. 

In her first season in charge, Williams coached a second-team All-KCAC selection in Genesis Thompson.  The Bulldogs cheer team finished sixth out of eight teams at the KCAC Championships, beating out Sterling College by five points and York University by nearly 10 points.

Prior to arriving in McPherson, Williams spent three years as the head cheer coach at the University of Nebraska-Kearney. While at UNK, Williams recruited throughout the state and region, bringing in top talent as well as athletes with the potential for significant growth.

She was also selected to serve as the lead instructor at the Nebraska Shrine Bowl Cheerleading Camp.

Williams graduated in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in general studies from the University of Nebraska-Kearney.
