2009 (Junior): Started all 11 games at running back position … carried the ball a team high 214 times for 1,030 (4.8 yards per carry) … also caught 18 passes for 273 yards … set a team record with 23 touchdowns and 140 points … twice tied the single season record for touchdowns in a game with four (at USM on Oct. 10 and vs SWC on Nov. 24) … national rankings include, first scoring per game, second total scoring, 14^th total rushing, 16^th rushing yards per game … earned first team All-KCAC and honorable mention All-American honors from the College Fanz Sports Network.

High School: Honored by the Arizona State High School Athletic Association as the 5A Player of the Year in 2003…rushed for approximately 2,500 yards and 35 touchdowns as a senior…played at Ironwood High School (Glendale, Ariz.)…coached by Chuck Esquivel.

Personal: Aaron Lafitte is the son of Jerrold and Barbara Lafitte of Waddell, Ariz. … born Oct. 16, 1985 … he is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Sociology.
