Joe King will be entering his first year as the Cornerback Coach at McPherson College. 

Coaching Highlights
From 2022 to 2024, Joe King served as an assistant coach at Edwardsville High School, where he mentored standout players including 1st Team All-Conference running back Steven Moore Jr. and Honorable Mention All-Conference running back Gavyn Yates.

Playing Highlights
King played Safety/Defensive Back at Missouri Baptist University from 2018 to 2022, where he was a team captain, a two-time MSFA Midwest All-Conference selection, and set both the NAIA MSFA single-game interception record (4) and the school career interception record (8). He was twice named MSFA Midwest Defensive Player of the Week, earned MBU Football Defensive MVP honors in 2021, and received an invitation to the 2022 NAIA Senior Football Classic. In 2025, he continued his playing career with the Eau Claire Axemen of the Arena Football League.
