2010 (Freshman): Played in six games … second amongst all freshman with 10 total tackles … made collegiate debut on Sept. 4 against Haskell Indian Nations … set a career-high with three tackles and one tackle for loss against the Indians … made two tackles against Ottawa on Sept. 18 and University of Saint Mary on Oct. 9 … played primarily as a reserve linebacker

High School: Three-time all-state honorable mention linebacker … twice named first team all-league … earned first team all-league as a running back and on special teams as a senior … tallied 158 tackles, four interceptions and two defensive touchdowns as a senior … also rushed for 1,100 yards … played as running back and linebacker … coached by Terry Bruton … also participated in basketball and track and field … named Kansas Honor Scholar and Wendy’s High School Heisman State Finalist as a senior … two year member of National Honor Society.
