Connor Carman

Connor Carman enters his first year as a McPherson assistant men’s basketball coach in 2019-2020.

Coach Carman is a native of Augusta, KS. Connor earned All-league and all-state honors in basketball, football, and golf.

He played college basketball for two seasons at Dodge City Community College in the tough Jayhawk West Division, under coaches Brady Trenkle and Kyle Campbell. After a knee injury sidelined his basketball career, he attended Wichita State University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management in 2017.

Since his graduation Connor has worked for the Augusta Parks & Recreation Dept. He was also assistant boy’s basketball coach at Circle High School for the 2017-2018 season, helping lead them to the Sub-State Finals. He was assistant boys basketball coach at Augusta High School for the 2018-2019 season, helping lead them to a 2nd place finish at 4A State.
