Louis Parker

Louis Parker III will be entering his second season as the Associate Head Men’s Basketball Coach for McPherson College. He has been a part of the men’s basketball program for the past 11 years as a player and coach.
 

Coaching Highlights  

Throughout his first three years on the men’s basketball staff at McPherson, Parker served as a volunteer coach while teaching Physical Education at Washington Elementary. During the season in 2019-20, the Bulldogs finished 21-11 overall and 15-9 in KCAC play. It was the program's most wins since the 2011-12 season, and their 4th place finish in the KCAC standings was their highest mark since they won the conference that same year.   

Parker has coached 13 All-KCAC selections, including four second team members and the 2023-24 KCAC Newcomer of the Year in Collin Storr.  


Playing Highlights 

Coach Parker played at McPherson College from 2014 to 2019, earning KCAC Co-Freshman of the Year and All-Freshman Team honors in 2014-2015, following a standout high school career at Midwest City High School from 2011 to 2014.
