Josh Baldwin

Baldwin begins his first season as an assistant coach in 2017. He comes to McPherson after a season as an assistant coach at Bethel College. While at Bethel, he provided input on practice plans and gameday decisions and was responsible for maintaining relations with alumni, coordinating away game meals, and planning reading days for players at local elementary schools.

He is also a head coach in the Kansas Rush Wichita club program, working primarily with U14 girls and boys teams -- developing weekly practice plans and planning three tournaments per team per season. Prior to his time at Bethel, he spent a year as the assistant varsity coach for both men's and women's soccer teams at Camdenton (Mo.) High School.

He is a 2012 graduate of John Brown University, where he played for four years amassing three 10-plus win seasons, including an 11-5-2 record as a senior. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in youth ministry from JBU and also holds a USSF "F" license, the NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Certification, the NSCAA Professional Development Certification and the NSCAA Advance Youth Coaching Certifications.
