Alex Mailes is entering his first season as the Head Coach of the McPherson College Men’s and Women’s Tennis teams. The Bulldogs are looking to continue the long tradition of success that they have had on both the men’s and women’s teams.

Coaching Highlights
Prior to coming to McPherson College, Mailes served as the Head Men’s Tennis Coach at Campbellsville University in Campbellsville, KY from 2024-2025. During his time at Campbellsville, Mailes coached First Team Mid-South Conference player, Manuel Pinheiro, to 10-6 record at the 1 position.
 
Playing Highlights
Mailes competed at The University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND from 2016-2020 where he racked up over 50 NCAA Division I wins. During his time playing, Mailes was named Newcomer of the Year (Tennis) and Most Improved Player in his sophomore season. Had notable wins over multiple ATP ranked players.
