Keiran President enters his third season as director of men's and women's tennis operations for Bulldog tennis.
A premier program for McPherson College, President has continued the success leading the men's team to back-to-back-to-back KCAC regular season and tournament titles while extending the Bulldogs' tournament championship streak to nine. Additionally, in 2024 President led the women's team to it's first KCAC regular season championship since 2017, and it's first KCAC tournament title since 2019.
In just his second year at the helm of the men's program, President led the team to a first-round upset of No. 13-seeded Ave Maria for the team's first NAIA Tournament win since 2018.
President has also had success on the women's side, leading them to the KCAC Tournament title match in each of his first two seasons, including a semifinal upset of top-seeded and previously unbeaten Southwestern.
Coach President came to McPherson College after spending two years as an assistant coach at William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri. During his tenure at WWU, the Owls were one of the top programs in the NAIA and consistently ranked in the NAIA's Top 25 Coaches Poll.
President, a native of Castries, St. Lucia, was the number one ranked junior in singles and doubles in 14U and 18U nationally. In 2011 he got the privilege to represent St. Lucia in the Junior Davis Cup in El Salvador. In 2015 he journeyed to the States and began his collegiate playing career at Cameron University, an NCAA Division II school in Lawton, Okla. While at Cameron, he was named All-Conference honorable mention as a freshman.
After the 2017 season, he transferred to Ottawa University, where he finished out his career. He played one season for the Braves, posting a 17-5 record in singles, and was 19-3 in doubles. For his efforts on the court, he was named All-KCAC second team.
In 2019 he joined the staff at William Woods, serving as the interim head coach briefly when Justin Stuckey, former Bulldog head coach, departed in the fall of 2019. When the Owls hired their current head coach, President stayed on, serving as an assistant. His first spring season with the Owls was shortened due to COVID-19, but a year later the WWU women's team finished 15-6 and were ranked 11th at the end of the season while the men were 16-4 and were ranked 22nd. President was named the ITA NAIA Central Region Men's Assistant Coach of the Year at the end of the 2021 season.
As an assistant coach for the Owls, President had responsibilities in recruiting, budgeting, running practices, on-court coaching, and many other aspects of the day-to-day operations of the WWU programs.
