Katie Neira enters her first season as a McPherson graduate assistant volleyball coach in 2018.

Neira was an outside hitter for four seasons (2014-17) at Bethel (Kan.). She was voted KCAC Freshman of the Year in 2014 and was named to the All-KCAC third team each season. Neira posted over 1,000 kills in her career.

Neira earned a Bachelor of Science in health and physical education with a minor in sport management from Bethel in 2018 and is pursuing a Master's degree from McPherson.

Neira, from San Antonio, Texas, attended Harlandale High School.
