McPherson, Kan. – McPherson recorded a .250 team hitting percentage, including a .316 percent performance in set to as the Bulldogs registered their second win in a row with a 3-0 sweep of the University of Saint Mary Tuesday night at the McPherson Sport Center.

"I am really pleased with our performance tonight," said McPherson coach Susan Barton. "I feel like tonight we really stayed disciplined as a team. The girls are doing everything we are asking of them, they are playing with confidence and this is really going to help us to finish strong in conference."

The Bulldogs improve to 14-11 overall and 6-6 in KCAC play, while the Spires fall to 4-18 and 4-10 in conference action.

McPherson dominated all three sets to the tune of 25-12, 25-14 and 25-16.

Junior hitter Kory Hiebert (Goessel, Kan.) led McPherson with 10 kills, while sophomore Natalie Boss (Waterville, Kan.) had nine and Amy Neufeld (Hillsboro, Kan.), Jessica Arpin (Salina, Kan.) and Callie McCaffrey (Vona, Colo.) recorded four apiece, respectively.

Brelynn Schloo (Salina, Kan.) tallied a double-double with a team-high 33 assists and 10 digs. Three other Bulldogs recorded double-digit digs, including Kaylee Joseph (Blue Rapids, Kan.) (12), Brooke Wedel (Moundridge, Kan.) (12) and Kelley Green (Brighton, Colo.) (10).

McPherson returns to action on Thursday, Oct. 21 when they travel to Sterling College. Game time is set for 2:00 p.m.
