McPherson, Kan. – Junior setter Brelynn Schloo (Salina, Kan.) registered a team-best 23 assists and 14 digs, as the Bulldogs won their fourth straight match, 3-0, Saturday afternoon against Southwestern College.
The Bulldogs improve to 16-11 overall and 8-6 in KCAC play, while the Builders fall to 2-19 overall and 1-13 in conference action.
McPherson won the first two sets by the scores of 25-19 and 25-17, before closing the door on the Builders in dominating fashion 25-14.
Junior Kory Hiebert (Goessel, Kan.) led McPherson with 10 kills and a .400 hitting percentage, while sophomore Natalie Boss (Waterville, Kan.) and Schloo added six and five respectively.
Junior libero Brooke Wedel (Moundridge, Kan.) continued her consistent defensive play with 10 digs.
McPherson returns to action Wednesday, Oct. 27, against Friends University. First serve is set for 7:00 p.m. at the McPherson Sport Center.
