Women’s tennis falls to Friends, 7-2

Wichita, Kan. – The McPherson College women’s tennis team fell, 7-2, to Friends University Saturday morning in Wichita, Kan.

The Falcons opened the morning with a 3-0 sweep of the doubles matches.

In singles, senior Mallory Griggs won her match, 8-1, over Stephanie Curtis, while junior Haley Cook defeated Sara McVay, 6-1, 6-1 to score the lone two points against the Falcons.

The Bulldogs hit the road to take on Bethel College on April 12 at 3:00 p.m.
