McPherson, Kan. – The McPherson College women’s tennis team fell, 9-0, to Tabor College at the McPherson High School Tennis Center on Thursday night.
The Bluejays prevailed at each of the doubles positions. At No. 2, senior Shaylin King and junior Madalen Jackle batted to an 8-6 loss, falling to Amanda Wann and Jamie Williams, in the most closely contested doubles match of the day.
The Bulldogs struggles continued in the singles matches. Senior Ashley Andrews played the closest match, a 6-4, 6-4 loss against Amanda Faber at the No. 1 position.
McPherson returns to action Saturday, April 17, when they play host to Sterling College. First serve is set to begin at 9:00 a.m.
