McPherson, Kan. – Junior guard Kristen Ozbun was named to the All-KCAC honorable mention team, while freshman forward Shireana Robinson earned an All-Freshman team selection in a recent vote by the conference coaches.

For Ozbun, it is her third selection to the All-KCAC team list, second straight year with honorable mention status. The 5-6 Rose Hill, Kan., native led McPherson with 13.5 points per game, including a career-high 27-point performance against Ottawa University. Along with scoring, Ozbun finished the season with 130 rebounds, 45 assists, 39 steals and seven blocks. Ozbun is the active career point’s leader with 858 points in a Bulldog uniform.

Robinson earned the honor for the first time in her career. A native of Beckville, Texas, she finished the season ranked second on the team with 243 points and 150 rebounds. Robinson started 15 games for the Bulldogs. She led the team with four double doubles, including a career-high 24 point and 11 rebound performance in MC’s Dec. 5 meeting with Ottawa University.

The 2009-2010 Bulldogs finished their season with a 6-21 overall record and a 3-15 mark in KCAC action.
