Individual Match Results
Hillsboro, Kan. – The McPherson College women’s tennis team lost its Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference opener, 9-0, at Tabor College on Wednesday afternoon.
The loss drops McPherson to 1-2 overall and 0-1 in the KCAC, while the Blue Jays improve to 5-5 overall and 1-0 in conference action.
The Bulldogs lost all three doubles matches before Tabor swept the singles competitions en route to the victory. McPherson had to default the No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles positions due to students participating in the college’s annual spring choir tour.
McPherson returns to the court on Friday, April 8 when they host Newman University at the McPherson High School Tennis Center. Doubles action is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. with singles matches to follow.
